Steelers sign Hall

The Steelers offseason roster continues to take shape after they signed running back Darrin Hall to a Reserve/Future contract on Tuesday.

Hall, who played at the University of Pittsburgh, spent time on the Steelers' practice squad during the season.

He originally signed with the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted rookie free agent following the 2019 NFL Draft. He has since spent time with the Cincinnati Bengals and Green Bay Packers but was released by the Packers prior to the start of the regular season.

While at Pitt, Hall was a third-team All-ACC selection in 2018 after rushing for 1,144 yards on 153 carries with 10 touchdowns. He ranked second in the ACC and seventh nationally with a 7.48-yard per carry average. Hall broke Tony Dorsett's yard per carry average, which was 6.6 yards set in 1975.

Right after the season the Steelers signed 11 other players to the Reserve/Future contracts.
