Five Fast Facts: Derrick Harmon

Learn more about defensive tackle Derrick Harmon in this edition of Five Fast Facts.

1. The Steelers selected Harmon in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft out of the University of Oregon with the 21st overall pick.

2. Harmon appeared in 42 games in college, recording 116 tackles, 51 of them solo stops, 18 tackles for a loss, eight and a half sacks, six passes defensed, three forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries.

3. Harmon spent one season with the Ducks, starting all 14 games in 2024 while earning second-team Associated Press All-America honors. He was also a second-team All-Big Ten selection by the media and third-team All-Big Ten by the coaches.

4. Harmon began his college career at Michigan State, where he appeared in 28 games, finishing with 71 tackles, 24 of them solo stops, seven tackles for a loss and three and a half sacks.

5. He played at Loyola High School in Detroit, Michigan where he named to The Detroit News and Detroit Free Press All-Detroit Team. He was also a two-time first-team All-State selection.
