The Steelers have trimmed their roster to 79 players prior to Tuesday's league-mandated deadline of 75 players, the team announced.
The Steelers have placed offensive tackle Jerald Hawkinson the Reserve/Injured List, while quarterback Dustin Vaughanhas been Waived/Injured. In addition, the team has released linebackers Jordan Zumwaltand Mike Reilly, wide receivers Issac Blakeneyand Levi Norwood, tight end Michael Cooper, defensive end Giorgio Newberry, defensive tackle Khaynin Mosley-Smith, cornerback Julian Whigham, and punter Will Monday.
Pittsburgh must reduce its roster to 75 players by Tuesday at 4 p.m.
