Steelers release wide receiver Lance Moore

The Steelers have released wide receiver Lance Moore, the team announced today.

Moore signed with the Steelers on March 21, 2014. In one season with Pittsburgh, Moore played in 14 games with two starts during the regular season. He recorded 14 receptions for 198 yards with two receiving touchdowns in those 14 contests. Moore was inactive for the team's lone postseason contest versus Baltimore.

For his career, Moore has appeared in 115 games with 32 starts during the regular season, and he has totaled 360 receptions for 4,479 yards with 40 receiving touchdowns.
