The Steelers signed cornerback Tre Flowers to the practice squad.
The team originally signed Flowers to the 53-man roster on Christmas Day but released him earlier this week.
In eight seasons in the NFL, Flowers appeared in 87 games, starting 43 of them. He has four career interceptions, five forced fumbles and 22 passes defensed. He also has 270 tackles, 211 of them solo stops.
Flowers recently played for the Detroit Lions, appearing in two games in 2025.
Flowers was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft, the 146th overall selection, out of Oklahoma.
Flowers spent four seasons with the Seahawks, appearing in 47 games, with 40 starts. He spent time with the Cincinnati Bengals, Atlanta Falcons, Jacksonville Jaguars, Indianapolis Colts and Chicago Bears.
The team released offensive tackle David Sharpe from the practice squad earlier this week as well.
