Steelers make moves to get to 53-man roster

The Steelers made additional roster moves on Tuesday as they reached the mandatory 53-man roster by 4 p.m.

The moves are listed below by position.

The Steelers waived six players, including the following:

Defensive lineman: DeMarvin Leal

Linebacker: Eku Leota

Defensive backs: Beanie Bishop Jr., Sebastian Castro

Offensive lineman: Dylan Cook

Wide receiver: Ke'Shawn Williams

The Steelers waived/injured two players, including:

Defensive lineman: Domenique Davis

Wide receiver: Brandon Johnson

The team also terminated five vested veterans including:

Defensive backs: Chuck Clark, James Pierre

Offensive lineman: Max Scharping

Running back: Trey Sermon

Wide receiver: Robert Woods

The team also placed one player on the Reserve/Injured List (Designated for Return):

Defensive back: Cory Trice Jr.

The Steelers made moves on Monday, Aug. 25 as well, including terminating veteran punter Cameron Johnston.
