Steelers make moves ahead of Ravens game

The Steelers made multiple roster moves ahead of their game against the Baltimore Ravens at Heinz Field, including activating guard Kevin Dotson and defensive tackle Isaiah Buggs off the Reserve/COVID-19 List.

The team also elevated safety Antoine Brooks Jr. to the Active/Inactive roster from the practice squad as a COVID-19 replacement.

In addition, the team signed kicker Matthew Wright to the practice squad.

Dotson, who was selected in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, was placed on the list on Nov. 14. Dotson has played in eight games this season, starting two.

Buggs, the Steelers sixth-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, played in six games, starting one, and recorded five tackles. He was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 List on Nov. 27.

Brooks Jr., who was selected in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft out of Maryland, was also elevated to the Active/Inactive roster for the team's Week 8-10 games, and then reverted back to the practice squad without having to pass through waivers.

Wright is no stranger to the Steelers. He signed with the team as an undrafted free agent following the 2019 NFL Draft and spent the 2019 training camp with the team. Wright played at the University of Central Florida (UCF) where he still holds the school record for career points (375) and field goals made (55).
