Steelers elevate two for Lions game

The Steelers elevated offensive lineman Jack Driscoll and defensive back Daryl Porter from the practice squad to the Active/Inactive Roster for Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions at Ford Field. They will revert back to the practice squad after the game.

Driscoll, who was signed to the Steelers practice squad on Oct. 29, was also elevated for the Week 15 game against the Miami Dolphins.

Driscoll was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

He spent five seasons with the Eagles, appearing in 67 games, starting 18.

Driscoll played college football at Auburn, where he appeared in 25 games over two seasons. Prior to his time at Auburn, he spent two seasons at Massachusetts where he appeared in 22 games.

Porter joined the Steelers during training camp in 2025.

Porter, the son of former NFL defensive back Daryl Porter Sr., was signed by the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent following the 2025 NFL Draft. He was released during training camp.

Porter began his college career at West Virginia, before transferring to Miami where he was a two-year starter. He recorded 108 tackles during his college career, as well as 18 passes defensed, 10 of them during his time at Miami, and one interception.
