The Steelers are AFC North Champions after defeating the Indianapolis Colts, 28-24, at Heinz Field on Sunday. The Steelers had previously clinched a playoff berth, but now secured a home game having won the division.
The Steelers, 12-3, clinched the division for the first time since the 2017 season.
It is the 24th time the Steelers have clinched the division title, the most division titles by any team since the 1970 merger, including 15 AFC Central Championships, and nine AFC North Championships after the conference was realigned in 2002 to include the Steelers, Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens.
This is the seventh time the Steelers have won the AFC North under Coach Mike Tomlin, who has never had a losing season since he was hired in 2007.
