Steelers activate Tuitt

The Steelers activated defensive end Stephon Tuitt from the Reserve/COVID-19 List on Saturday.

Having Tuitt back is a huge boost for the defense. Tuitt has 31 tackles and seven sacks in 10 games, as well as two forced fumbles and two pass defenses. His return solidifies a defensive line that is already having a strong season.

The return of Tuitt, and the activation of Chris Wormley on Nov. 21 from the Reserve/Injured List, gives the Steelers a full complement of players on the defensive line for first time in a while.

Tuitt was previously placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 List on Nov. 27 and missed only the Steelers win over the Baltimore Raven on Wednesday.

The Steelers still have three players on the Reserve/COVID-19 list including center Maurkice Pounce, running back James Conner and offensive tackle Jerald Hawkins.
