Player of the Week

Snell is the Digest Player of the Week

BENNY SNELL

Running Back

BALTIMORE – It wasn't nearly enough offense to defeat a team like Baltimore, but it was just about all of the offense the Steelers could muster in their 28-10 loss to the Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium.

Benny Snell rushed for 91 yards on 18 carries (5.1 average), and he ran for a 4-yard touchdown that was the Steelers' only one in the game. Snell's 91 yards rushing accounted for more than half of the Steelers' 168 total net yards of offense, and he is the Steelers Digest Player of the Week.

Also considered were Devin Bush, who led the team with 12 tackles; Cam Heyward, who had four tackles, a sack, two hits on the quarterback, and a pass batted at the line of scrimmage; Diontae Johnson, who caught four passes for 54 yards, and his 21-yard reception represented the Steelers' longest play of the game, and he also had 24 more yards on two punt returns; T.J. Watt, who had five tackles, one-half sack, two hits on the quarterback, and forced a fumble that Joe Haden recovered; and Haden, who added an interception in addition to his fumble recovery to go along with three tackles.
