Roster moves continue

The Steelers promoted center Patrick Morris from the practice squad to the 53-man roster to help fill the void on the offensive line that was created with the suspension of Maurkice Pouncey, who will miss two games after the NFL reduced his suspension from three games to two games. Pouncey was placed on the reserve/suspended by commissioner list.

Morris was signed by the Steelers as a rookie free agent after the 2018 NFL Draft and spent the entire 2018 season on the practice squad. Morris was released prior to the start of the 2019 season and then signed to the practice squad.

Morris, who played at TCU, started 18 games in college, with 10 at guard and eight at center.

The team also re-signed tight end Kevin Rader to the practice squad.
