Manhart signed to Reserve/Future contract

The Steelers signed offensive guard Cole Manhart to a Reserve/Future contract, it was announced today.

Manhart originally signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Nebraska-Kearney on May 2, 2015. After being released by the Eagles, he spent the 2015 training camp with the New Orleans Saints. Manhart was released by the Saints on September 1, 2015. He was signed to the Oakland Raiders' practice squad on December 28, 2015.

Manhart was a three-year starter at left tackle and a team captain for Nebraska-Kearney, where he earned AFCA All-America honors following his junior and senior seasons.
