Five Fast Facts: Miles Killebrew

Learn more about Steelers sixth-year linebacker Miles Killebrew in this edition of Five Fast Facts.

1. Killebrew signed with the Steelers this offseason as an unrestricted free agent. He was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft out of Southern Utah. He has played in 78 games in his four seasons, starting four.

2. While with the Lions, Killebrew was coached by Teryl Austin, the Steelers senior defensive assistant/secondary coach, for two seasons.

3. Coming out of Southern Utah he dominated at the 2016 NFL Scouting Combine, finishing as the top performer in the bench press (22 reps), as well as near the top of vertical jump (38") and broad jump (10' 7"). He also ran 4.51 in the 40-yard dash at his pro day.

4. Missed the first game is his NFL career in Week 7 of the 2020 season when his wife, Kailah, gave birth to their first child, Stormi.

5. His father, David Killebrew, made it to the Olympic trials for velodrome cycling and was a Marine.
