The Steelers signed long snapper Tucker Addington to a one-year contract.
Addington has appeared in 10 games over three seasons, spending time with the Dallas Cowboys, New England Patriots, Washington Commanders, Miami Dolphins, Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans.
Addington began his career with the Cowboys, spending time on their practice squad in 2022. He also spent time on the Patriots practice squad and active roster in 2022, appearing in three games for New England. In addition, he played for the USFL Houston Gamblers in 2022, appearing in all 10 games.
In 2023 he appeared in three games for the Commanders, while playing in two games for the Dolphins in 2024. He was most recently with the Texans after he signed a reserve/future contact in February.
He played college football at Sam Houston State where he played in 51 games over four seasons.
