Steelers release Tyler Murphy

PITTSBURGH, Pa.– The Steelers released wide receiver Tyler Murphy, the team announced today.

Murphy appeared in each of the team's first two 2015 regular-season games, making one catch for 16 yards. He joined the Steelers as an undrafted rookie free agent following the 2015 NFL Draft.

Running back Le'Veon Bell re-joined the team's 53-man roster after the NFL granted Pittsburgh a roster exemption.

The team's roster currently stands at the league-mandated 53 players.
