Monterrey nos recibió con los brazos abiertos, fue un fin de semana espectacular en el que tuvimos la oportunidad de convivir con todos los fans de la Sultana del Norte y disfrutar de la apretadísima victoria contra los Washington Commanders 28-27.
No hay palabras para describir la energía y la pasión que sentimos en el Showcenter de Monterrey. Banderas, máscaras, sombreros y muchos, pero muchos cánticos de "Here we go Steelers" retumbaron las paredes del recinto regiomontano.
Dermontti Dawson, Kordell Stewart, Jeff Hartings y Carnell Lake fueron las leyendas que nos acompañaron en toda esta experiencia espectacular, firmaron autógrafos, se tomaron fotos y convivieron con los fans de toda la Steeler Nation que nos acompañaron. Momentos increíbles que estamos seguros nunca olvidarán.
Los fans pasaron una tarde especial en compañía de sus amigos y familiares, hubo alegría y nerviosismo con el partido tan duro y cerrado en todo momento pero los gritos y las porras no faltaron. Alvaro Martín, Raúl Allegre y Arturo Carlos narraron en vivo el partido para todos los aficionados, un verdadero deleite el trabajo tan preciso y profesional en la crónica y análisis que pudimos disfrutar todos durante la tarde.
No cabe duda de que en México está la mejor afición. Fue un fin de semana increíble en el cual también tuvimos la oportunidad de convivir en una clínica de Flag Football con niños y niñas de Monterrey en el Colegio Inglés.
Y terminamos nuestras actividades del sábado con una deliciosa experiencia con la Sociedad Mexicana de Parrilleros con el maestro parrillero Luis Garza, quién nos atendió de maravilla y nos ayudó a entender mejor todo el mundo de la carnita asada tan famosa en Monterrey y también nos dio a probar el tradicional cabrito.
En resumen, LA PASAMOS A TODO DAR, COMPADRES Y COMADRES, como dicen en Monterrey. Gracias por recibirnos, nos vamos con una sonrisa, mucha carnita asada y una victoria importantísima de cara a todos los duelos divisionales que vienen las próximas semanas.
