Steelers Suspend Alameda Ta'amu For Two Games

The Steelers have suspended rookie defensive lineman Alameda Ta'amu, the team announced today. The suspension is effective immediately and is for the team's Weeks 7 and 8 games against the Cincinnati Bengals and Washington Redskins, respectively.

During the suspension, Ta'amu will not be paid nor will he be able to play, practice or attend team meetings.

Ta'amu, who hasn't played in any of the team's first five games, was a fourth round draft pick by the Steelers in the 2012 NFL Draft.
