Steelers sign Grant and Chickillo

The Steelers have signed their fourth-round selection, cornerback Doran Grant, and their second of two sixth-round selections, linebacker Anthony Chickillo,* *from the 2015 NFL Draft. Financial terms of the four-year deals were not disclosed.

 

Grant (5-10, 200), who was the 121st overall pick, played collegiately at Ohio State. He started 30-of-54 games played and totaled 146 tackles, nine interceptions, 20 pass breakups, one sack and four TFLs. In 2014, Grant was named first-team All-Big Ten and started all 15 games for the National Champion Buckeyes.

 

Chickillo (6-3, 267), who was the 212th overall pick, played collegiately at the University of Miami. He started 47-of-50 games for the Hurricanes and tallied 170 tackles, 15 TFLs, 15.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries and five pass breakups in his career. 

 

The Steelers have now signed three of their eight draft selections from the 2015 NFL Draft.
