PROGRAMMING AND MARKETING PARTNERSHIP KICKS OFF LIVE TUESDAY AT NOON WITH MIKE TOMLIN PRESS CONFERENCEROOT SPORTS™ and the Pittsburgh Steelersextended their partnership; it was announced today by Shawn McClintock, ROOT SPORTSSenior Vice President & General Manager and Pittsburgh Steelers President Art Rooney II. Term and financial details were not disclosed.
Steelers programming on the regional sports network will feature the weekly Mike Tomlin Press Conference *live at noon on Tuesdays and *The Mike Tomlin Show *Thursdays at 6:00pm. ROOT SPORTSwill also be the TV home for the *McDonald's Youth Football in Steelers Country *show *Saturdays at 10:30am.
"For over a decade we have been the TV home of Steelers press conferences and other programming," said McClintock. "As Steelers fans, we look forward to continuing this relationship."
ROOT SPORTSwill feature the annual NFL-produced highlight film celebrating last season's *Super Bowl *run on Tues., Sept. 6 at 1:00pm, immediately following Mike Tomlin's first press conference.
