The Steelers activated linebacker Jarvis Jones from the team's Reserve/Injured; Designated for Return List and placed cornerback Cortez Allen on the team's Reserve/Injured List, it was announced today.
Jones, a second-year linebacker, started each of the team's first three games of 2014 and totaled 14 tackles (seven solo) along with 2.0 sacks and a forced fumble before suffering an injury during the team's Week 3 game at Carolina. He was placed on the team's Reserve/Injured; Designated for Return List on September 23.
Allen appeared in each of the team's first 11 games (seven starts) this season and matched a single-season career-high with two interceptions, contributing 41 tackles (36 solo) and 11 pass breakups.
