Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was honored by Boys & Girls Club of Western Pennsylvania on Monday as the recipient of their "National Champion of Youth Award."

Roethlisberger received the award at the Boys & Girls Club 36th Annual Golf Classic for his continued commitment to the Pittsburgh community, in particular his work with children.

Roethlisberger hosts an annual football camp, with many members of the Boys & Girls Club attending for free thanks to his generosity.

"For many of the children in attendance from the Boys & Girls Club, this became their only summer vacation, and Ben provided them with memories that will last a lifetime" said Mike Hepler, President and C.E.O. of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania.
