Heyward is making sacks count

Steelers fans love it when the defense makes a huge play, especially when they sack an opposing quarterback.

And once again, local kids are going to love it even more.

Cameron Heyward, in conjunction with The Heyward House, is partnering with the Boys & Girls Club of Western Pennsylvania for a second season for his Sacks for Kids program.

"I am very proud to join the Boys & Girls Clubs on the Sacks for Kids campaign to help kids in Western Pennsylvania," said Heyward. "The programs kids take part in at the clubs make a big impact on their lives. I am honored to partner with them and support the great work they do. This pledge campaign is a great way for fans to join me. Now, for every sack we get, we make life better for kids in our community."

Fans can join Heyward in pledging any dollar amount for every sack the Steelers have this year, and all money raised will benefit programs run by the Boys & Girls Club.

Individuals who make at least a $1 per sack pledge, or a flat donation of $40 or more, will be entered to win a signed football. For those that make a pledge of $5 or more, or a flat donation of at least $50, will receive a special limited edition Cam Heyward t-shirt. Additional donation levels are also available.
