LATROBE, Pa. - On the day the Steelers' officially ended Shaun Suisham's season, Garrett Hartley got his kicks with his new team.

The new kicker had arrived at St. Vincent College on Tuesday.

His first field goal attempts came today, coinciding with Suisham being placed on the Reserve/Injured List after undergoing knee surgery.

Hartley hit 11 of 13 attempts from both hash marks with Greg Warren doing the snapping and punters Brad Wing and Jordan Berry handling the holding.

Hartley's successful attempts included a 49-yard, hurry-up effort, complete with linemen running onto the field and special teams coordinator Danny Smith counting down from 10 to simulate a ticking clock.

Hartley also split the uprights from 33, 29, 32, 33, 39, 41, 33, 43, 44 and 47 yards.

His two misses were both from 57 yards out, one short and wide right and one short and wide left.

The Pittsburgh Steelers put in their last day of practice before heading to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars in Week 1 of the preseason.
