Harris' PSA one of the finalists

The NFL and the United Way are celebrating their 40-year partnership, with one of the highlights a fan vote on the best United Way/NFL PSA from over the years.

Franco Harris' video that recounts the Immaculate Reception and what a special moment it was, while tying it into the United Way providing the assistance for a Pittsburgh woman to help graduate from Community College of Allegheny County, is one of the 10 finalists for the award. The winner will be announced on Sunday, Dec. 15.

Harris, who is co-leading the effort to celebrate the partnership along with former Cowboys quarterback Roger Staubach, also helped kick off the NFL-United Way Hometown Huddle program earlier this year.

"It's hard to believe it's been 40 years since the Steelers and NFL and United Way got involved in this partnership," said Harris. "I was a part of the start of it in 1974. Forty years later the partnership is still strong and I am happy and grateful it is because of all of the great work they are doing."
