Fans can vote for Steelers United Way PSA

The NFL and the United Way are teaming up to host a nationwide vote for fans to decide their favorite public service ads (PSA) for the 40th anniversary of the partnership between the two organizations.

Two of those ads feature two Steelers' Hall of Famers, "The Chief" Art Rooney, Sr. and Franco Harris.

Harris and Hall of Famer, Roger Staubach, are co-leading the efforts to celebrate the anniversary. Approximately 10 ads per week for four weeks will be shown, and the PSAs are sorted in order by decade, starting with the 1970s and leading up through the 2000s.

Voting begins Tuesday, October 22, with the annual NFL-United Way Hometown Huddle, which will feature Steelers United Way Spokesperson, Cameron Heyward, at a local Play 60 event. Voting ends November 19, and the winning PSA will be announced on December 15 during NFL Homecoming.
