LATROBE, Pa. - Rookie tight end Cameron Clear is about to make a name for himself, in of all places China.

Clear is teaming with NFL China to bring fans in the country an inside look at an NFL training camp by setting up social media accounts on Weibao, China's version of Twitter, and Renren, which is the equivalent of Facebook.

"It's to keep the fans up on what is going on in America," said Clear, an undrafted free agent from Texas A&M. "It gets my name out there and was something the NFL China and my agent worked out."

All of his posts will be translated into Chinese by an interpreter, and it will allow a growing fan base there to understand the game more.

"It's exciting," said Clear. "China has a huge fan base, it has a huge NFL fan base. It's exciting to get another country on your side."

The Steelers preseason games will be streamed there via NFL China, allowing fans to watch him play as well.
