Clark to chair Cancer Caring Center walk

Steelers safety Ryan Clark and his wife Yonka will serve as Honorary Co-Chairs for the Cancer Caring Center's "Walk at the Waterfront" on Saturday, September 17 at the Waterfront in Homestead Town Square.

The Clark's will host a lunch for the top10 fundraisers during the off season.

"They do what they do there because it's a labor of love," said Clark. "It's about doing something to help and that's why you love to be involved. Also to lend a name, show your support, allows other people to join in. It's a blessing for me to even be involved."

Steelers fans who can't attend are still eligible to win all prizes by making donations if they are received by Oct. 17.

All proceeds from the walk benefit the Center's free services to cancer patients and families.  The Center is a Pittsburgh charity with no national office.
