Charlie Batch knows that there is a need in the community. He knows families are struggling, especially at the holiday season when money is tight and the desire to provide for kids is great.   And that is why Batch once again hosted a Toys for Tots drive in conjunction with the United States Marine Corps.

Batch and his teammates traded autographs for toys at the UPS Store at the Waterfront, with the toys going to kids in the Pittsburgh community.

"We see the need in the families around Christmas time they don't have everything they would like to have," said Batch. "It's the opportunity for us to help bring toys together and help needy families at Christmas. We team up with the Marine Corp and it's a win-win for everybody."

On hand to help Batch were teammates Andre Frazier, Ryan Clark, Carey Davis, David Johnson, Dennis Dixon, Sunny Harris, Ramon Foster, Steve McLendon, Tony Hills and Anthony Madison

"There is a strong need around the region and country and we are trying to do our small part to do what we do," said Batch. "I think it's great to be able to help the city of Pittsburgh."
