Steelers President Art Rooney II recently visited Pittsburgh Allegheny Traditional Academy K-5 and 6-8 as a part of Pittsburgh Public Schools 2014 Teachers Matter: A celebration of Teachers & the Teaching Profession.
Rooney visited several classrooms, thanking the teachers and sharing the importance of the job that they do with the students.
Teachers Matter was a week-long celebration of teaching and the teaching profession, which culminated with an event at the Carnegie Science Center.
