When you were resigned was that with the idea that you were going to be the starter?
When we talked that's what we talked about. I told them that I wanted an opportunity to compete for that spot and an opportunity to play. That was my biggest thing. And that's what I am getting to do and I just need to make the most of it.
What will this Sunday mean to be a part of the team at kickoff?
It's huge. Anytime you are able to start the season out and be a part of the first team and this first product that the fans are going to get to see, it means a lot. I feel like from the ones all the way down to the threes are going to make sure that we put our best foot forward and make sure that everyone sees that we are out here and putting our work in to be great this year.
Following a dominant performance in the Backs on Backers drill, the linebackers went to work again in the second practice in pads.
