Steelers trade for cornerback Brandon Boykin

PITTSBURGH, Pa. The Steelers traded for cornerback Brandon Boykin with the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for a conditional fifth-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, the team announced today.

Boykin (5-10, 185) is entering his fourth NFL season after being selected by the Eagles in the fourth round (123rd overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft out of the University of Georgia.

He has appeared in 48 regular-season games with six starts, recording seven interceptions and 32 pass breakups. For the postseason, Boykin started in his only playoff appearance.
