The Steelers signed undrafted free agent defensive back Tamon Lynum.
Lynum, who took part in the Steelers rookie minicamp on a tryout basis, played at the University of Pittsburgh.
He played two seasons at Pitt, after transferring from Nebraska, and appeared in 16 games. He finished his time with the Panthers recording 33 tackles, 19 of them solo stops, three passes defensed, a tackle for a loss and one interception.
