The Steelers go into today's game against the Browns at Heinz Field a relatively healthy group, and the team's inactives show that.
There is one player who won't be available because of injury, and that is right tackle Marcus Gilbert. Gilbert is inactive because of a knee injury, which forced him to miss practice all week. With Gilbert out, Matt Feiler will step in at right tackle. Feiler started earlier this season against Tampa Bay, a 30-27 win, when Gilbert was injured then as well.
"It helps you get more time, learn technique things and correct those technique errors," said Feiler. "This is something I have to stay ready for. It keeps me on my toes."
Darrius Heyward-Bey is active today after missing the last three games. As a result of him being active, receiver James Washington is inactive, as is Brian Allen, who helped fill the void on special teams with Heyward-Bey out.
Also inactive are Mason Rudolph, Marcus Allen, Zach Banner and L.T. Walton.
