Steelers inactives for Week 12 vs Ravens

The Steelers will be without running back Jaylen Samuels today, on the inactive list after he was ruled out of the game with a quadriceps injury. With Samuels out, and James Conner on the Reserve/COVID-19 list, Benny Snell Jr., Anthony McFarland Jr. and Wendell Smallwood, who was called up from the practice squad today as a COVID-19 replacement, will handle the ground game against the Ravens.

The team had to do a little more shuffling today as well after center Maurkice Pouncey was placed on the Reserve/COVID 19 List. Offensive lineman Anthony Coyle, who has been on the practice squad all season, was elevated as a COVID-19 replacement.

In addition to Conner and Pouncey, the team also will be without starting defensive end Stephon Tuitt and offensive tackle Jerald Hawkins who were previously placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 List. The Ravens will also be without multiple players who are on the Reserve/COVID-19 List, including starting quarterback Lamar Jackson,

One player who possibly benefitted from today's game being delayed is Joe Haden. Haden injured his knee against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 11 and didn't practice on the Tuesday ahead of the originally scheduled game on Thanksgiving and was limited after that. He was listed as questionable for today's game, but is active.

Also inactive are quarterback Joshua Dobbs, safety Antoine Brooks Jr., linebacker Jayrone Elliott and tight end Kevin Rader.
