The Steelers will be without running backs Jaylen Samuels (quad) and Trey Edmunds (hamstring) today after they were ruled out on Friday. Both were injured against the Bengals last week and Coach Mike Tomlin indicated during his weekly press conference their availability would be based on their practice participation this week. Neither of them practiced at all and are inactive today.Â
In addition, linebacker Jayrone Elliott also didn't practice all week because of an illness and was ruled out on Friday as well and is inactive today.
On Saturday the team activated defensive lineman Chris Wormley from the reserve/injured list, and he will be active today. Wormley began practicing on Nov. 18, and the team had 21 days to activate him or keep him on the reserve/injured list for the year.
Wormley was placed on the list on Oct. 31 after suffering a knee injury against the Tennessee Titans in Week 7. Prior to his injury he had three tackles and two quarterback hits this season.
Also inactive today are quarterback Joshua Dobbs and defensive lineman Isaiah Buggs.
