Heard around camp: Archer, Timmons, Spence

Rookie RB/WR Dri Archer on his first game and making a quick impact:
"I feel like I made a good impression, for my coaches, for my teammates, I just have to come out here and get better in practice. I just have to get in the playbook and get back to work. There is always room for improvement.  It felt good to have a start like that and get my feet wet."

Linebacker Lawrence Timmons weighed in on the play of fellow linebackers Jarvis Jones and Sean Spence against the Giants on Saturday night:**
"Jarvis looked good. He made a great move on the tackle, an inside move and got a sack for us. It was a great play for us.

"Sean Spence did a great job wrapping up, making tackles. He filled in nice for (Ryan) Shazier. I am looking forward to him continuing that success. He is really determined. I feel like with the injury it kind of provided a push for him to show people what he can do. He went out there and showed that."

Linebacker Sean Spence on returning to game action against the Giants after missing the last two seasons with a knee injury:"It was fun. It was very emotional at the beginning of the game. But once I got in there I felt at peace, at home. I felt pretty good. I can continue to improve and I am going to try and do that. I think I did okay, but I think I can get better. I just need to work on some technique stuff, some alignment stuff."
