There will be some familiar faces welcoming the newest members of the black and gold when several Steelers alumni take the stage at the 2019 NFL Draft in Nashville to announce the team’s draft picks.
Santonio Holmes will announce the team’s second round pick, while Brett Keisel will announce the third round pick.
The announcements are part of the NFL Legends program, which connects some of the game’s greatest players with the newest generation.
Holmes will join other former first round picks to announce the selection of all 32 team’s second-round selections this year. Holmes was selected by the Steelers in the first-round of the 2006 NFL Draft, the 25th pick overall, and was the MVP of Super Bowl XLIII.
Keisel was drafted in the seventh round of the 2002 NFL Draft and spent 12 seasons with the Steelers and was a member of the Super Bowl XL and XLIII teams.
The NFL Draft will be held April 25-27. The second and third rounds are held on April 26.
