Acrisure Stadium isn't the only place Steelers fans were celebrating the team's win over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.
Steelers Nation in Germany gathered for the Steelers first official Watch Party in the country on Sunday, enjoying the excitement of the 27-20 victory.
'Heimspiel - Steelers Watch Party presented by SMS Group' was held at Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund, Germany.
Over 250 Steelers fans were joined by Steelers legend and Super Bowl Champion XLIII Willie Colon, BVB legend Patrick Owomoyela and BVB team presenter Danny Fritz for an exciting first-ever Watch Party.
"The experience was awesome," said Colon. "The fans were amazing. They love Steeler Nation. It was fantastic to talk with them as they're super passionate about Steelers culture, the history of the Steelers, and the Steelers win made it even better.
"The stadium itself where the event was held is beautiful, and it was awesome seeing the black and gold dripped around the stadium. I look forward to coming back and catching a game."
Fans in attendance were treated to a meet and greet with the legends on hand, getting autographs and photos, while enjoying Pittsburgh-inspired food and drinks, games, live music and game analysis before watching the Steelers defeat the Colts on the venue's big screens.
The Watch Party was featured during the game broadcast on CBS in the United States and RTL in Germany. It was also covered by the Steelers official German channels on Instagram and TikTok.
"I've been very fortunate to not only go to Mexico City, but now here in Germany," said Colon. "Both fan bases and the people have a well-rounded understanding of the game and they're passionate about it. I think this is a situation where I can see the game continuing to grow and blend into the culture.
"I'm excited to see how the NFL takes the next step to let the game's trajectory have a place over here in European football."
The Watch Party marks a further step in developing local fan engagement and strengthening the Steelers' presence in Germany, as well as in the Steelers partnership with BVB. After announcing an official partnership in March 2025, the organizations have developed several collaborations together, including a Steelers flag football clinic at Signal Iduna Park in April 2025 as well as a BVB business networking event at Acrisure Stadium in June 2025.
