Terrence Frederick Conference Call TranscriptTERRENCE FREDERICKDefensive Back7th Round – 246th OverallWhat does it mean for you to be drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers?
It means a lot. My last coach ran the same defense, and it would make me prepared to play in Pittsburgh.
You say you ran the same defense. Do you know what to expect with Dick Lebeau's defense?
I know what to expect. I know in the NFL they kind of change it up a little bit more than how we ran it. I'm just happy to be a Steeler and I'm ready to come down there and learn whatever they want me to learn.
Were you a boundary corner in college?
I played boundary, I played the field, and I played inside. I kind of played a little bit of everything.
Have you heard that the Steelers want you as a slot guy? What's your opinion on that?
Yeah, definitely. I think*I *talked to them a couple of times before up in Indianapolis. They are looking at me at the slot, but it's good that I'm versatile. They like that I can play inside and outside. I will most likely play in the slot position.
How much have you played that position in college?
I played that position all four years in college.
