The reaction from Steelers Nation after Alan Faneca and Bill Nunn were elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame was pure joy and excitement.

The fans shared their thoughts and congratulations, but they weren't the only ones.

Faneca's former teammates, those who worked with Nunn and knew him, and those who are part of the Steelers' family shared their excitement and emotions on social media, with a sampling of their thoughts below.

Mr. Nunn grew up in #Pittsburgh’s Homewood neighborhood.
