Driven by the support of corporate partners, "Steelers STEM" provides local schools with an engaging digital curriculum to help teach students the basics of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, and makes sure they have fun while doing it.

Covering topics including Big Data and the Internet of Things, and the Future of Manufacturing and Design, the curriculum introduces real world applications of STEM based skills to students while Steelers players and coaches encourage them throughout the online portal. Top performing students have the opportunity to attend an end-of-year STEM Day at Acrisure Stadium, featuring activities on the field and a meet and greet with a current Steelers player.

Through Steelers STEM, the Steelers and our partners hope to provide our next generation with a clear road map into the future.

Testimonies

"I integrated Endeavor in my classroom to expose my 7th graders to the world of STEM careers. Not only do they get to understand what some of the career options are, they get to virtually "try out" and "feel" what it is like to do certain jobs. My students loved the House of the Future module the best, and the Perfect Playlist module goes down as the most challenging! Once my students completed the modules, I loved that there was a "Certificate of Completion" that students could save and post to their Pennsylvania Career Zone profile as a completed artifact for the state requirements."
- Ms. Reissman, 7th Grade Science, Yough Intermediate Middle School

"We are thrilled to join the Steelers in bringing STEM education initiatives to schools in the Mon Valley, where our Mon Valley Works operations are located. STEM education sets students up for a wide array of exciting career opportunities, including those in steelmaking."
- Rich Fruehauf, Senior Vice President, Strategic Planning and Corporate Development of U. S. Steel
