Who is your football mentor or inspiration?
I appreciate any of the guys who had a story like me, the story I am writing. Undrafted guys who proved themselves and have become a problem for other teams in the league, players others respect, players teams have to game plan for. Anybody that came out of a little school, or was told no. Those are guys that I like to follow.

What motivates you?
Just that. People say I shouldn't be playing this long. Anything negative motivates me.

What has been the biggest challenge you've had to overcome?
Going from trying to fit in, to realizing I am an individual and the things I do might not be for everybody else. The way I play the game and things I need to do for my body. The biggest obstacle is realizing that. Everybody is different. Everybody in this league has a different situation. You can't mimic or follow somebody. You have to do your own thing.

What scares you?
I am at a place in my life where whatever is for me, is for me. Whatever the Lord has planned for me, I am going to accept it. I am going to take whatever and run with it. Maybe the Lord is the only thing that scares me.

When did you start to dream about playing in the NFL?
When I was a kid. I always wanted to play in the league. School was hard for me and football was my only release. I was always good at it. I was a little bit bigger than everybody else. It was my release, my fun time.

Why do you play football?
I love it. I always have. I always will. The game has been my life. It's how I have made most of my friends. I have met so many people, I have had so many opportunities. Even when football is done, being outside of the game it won't be a hard transition.

What is your proudest football moment or memory?
Being able to go to the Pro Bowl, being an alternate for that. This year I want to make it outright. It's a blessing to just be able to go.

When you hear Steelers football, what do you think?
A whole bunch of tough guys that are going to get it done. A hard working city, a hard working team, and people you don't want to mess with.
