"It's Not Just Friday, It's Steelers Friday"
Allegheny County, the City of Pittsburgh, the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership and the Pittsburgh Steelers today announced a Playoff Rally will be held at Noon on Friday, January 15, in Market Square. Fans are encouraged to come show off their Steelers pride as the team prepares to meet the Denver Broncos in the AFC Divisional Round Game in Denver on Sunday.
Tunch Ilkin and Craig Wolfley will broadcast live on 970 ESPN Radio from Market Square from 10 a.m.-Noon. DJ Steve Maffei Jr, often featured at Steelers games, will get fans pumped with his high energy act starting at 11:30 a.m., and there will be plenty of Steelers giveaways during the rally. The Pittsburgh Steeline Drumline, Steelers Alumni, including Chris Hoke, and Steely McBeam will join in on the fun. The rally will be hosted by DJ Scottro and Tall Cathy from 96.1 Kiss FM.
The County and City have again declared Friday "Steelers Friday" and encourage everyone to show their support by donning their black and gold Steelers gear.
