The Steelers' defense forced a season-high four turnovers and QB Ben Roethlisberger threw for 217 yards and two touchdowns to beat the Browns, 27-11, at FirstEnergy Stadium.

Pittsburgh took its opening possession 45 yards on nine plays, which ended in a field goal. K Shaun Suishamnailed a 47-yard field goal to give the Steelers a 3-0 lead. Cleveland responded on its ensuing drive, going 34 yards on seven plays. K Billy Cundiff connected on a 49-yard field goal to tie the game, 3-3. But it would be the last points the Browns would score until late in the fourth quarter.

With less than three minutes remaining in the second quarter, Roethlisberger and WR Antonio Brownconnected on a 41-yard touchdown to extend the Steelers lead, 10-3. On Cleveland's next drive, S Troy Polamalu forced a fumble of Browns' RB Chris Ogbonnaya, and Polamalu recovered the football. Pittsburgh's ensuing drive resulted in a field goal, as Suisham connected from 32 yards out to give the Steelers a 13-3 halftime lead.

Midway through the third quarter, CB William Gaysacked and forced a fumble of QB Jason Campbell that was recovered by S Will Allen. Allen returned the fumble 49 yards to the Browns' four-yard line. On the very next play, Roethlisberger threw a four-yard touchdown to WR Emmanuel Sanders to increase the lead, 20-3.

The Steelers' defense forced two turnovers late in the fourth quarter, as Polamalu forced his second fumble of the game that was recovered by DE Cameron Heyward, and Gay picked off QB Brandon Weeden and returned it 21 yards for a touchdown to give Pittsburgh a 27-3 lead.

Weeden and WR Josh Gordon connected on a one-yard touchdown late in the fourth quarter and the Browns converted their two-point attempt for their final score of the contest.
