Mr. Botzer was nominated by his Principal who says: "Mr. Botzer's classroom is always open. He reaches out to colleagues and shares best practices. He embeds real world application in his daily plans. As a result, student engagement is high. On a regular basis, Mr. Botzer is able to take abstract Physics concepts and help students master the learning by making it tangible. He has had students push cars and garbage trucks so they understand "force". He developed and sponsored an after school ultimate Frisbee team to improve students exercise habits as well as understand flight. He consistently amazes me with his creativity and commitment to the students of Trinity."
