Hall of Famers will be Pro Bowl captains

The 2016 Pro Bowl will be played on Sunday, January 31 (7 p.m., ESPN) at Aloha Stadium in Hawaii, with Hall of Famers Michael Irvin and Jerry Rice serving as the NFL Legends captains for the two squads.

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, receiver Antonio Brown and guard David DeCastro were all Pro Bowl selections this season.

Five time Pro Bowler Darren Woodson (Team Irwin) and two-time Pro Bowler Eric Davis (Team Rice), will serve as the defensive co-captains. They will be joined by two active Pro Bowl players as captains who will assist with the Pro Bowl Draft, which will be televised nationally on ESPN2 at 7:30 p.m.

The Green Bay Packers and Kansas City Chiefs coaching staffs were selected to coach this year's squads, and they will be assigned to the team through the draft as well.

The Pro Bowl will once again be 'unconferenced,' as players were once again selected without regard to conference.
