The following is the latest installment of Getting To Know, a chance to learn a little more about Steelers' players who were added to the roster over the last few years.

Position: WR

Height: 6-2

Weight: 219

College: Maryland

Years Pro: 6

How Acquired: UFA, 2014

Football Mentor/Inspiration: My good friend, Devard Darling, he played for Baltimore for a couple years and Kansas City. He's like my brother. His wife worked at my high school, that's why we became friends. He's a mentor to me. I always look up to him.

Proudest Football Moment/Memory: Of course just being drafted, having an opportunity to play a kid's game at a pro level. That's something I'll always be proud of.

Favorite Teammate: Ben Roethlisberger is my favorite teammate right now. He's the quarterback. He's the one throwing me the ball.

Initial NFL Attraction: I just remember playing in high school and working my butt off and wanting to get a college scholarship. From there I happened to be a decent player and had a chance to go to the NFL. Of course growing up in the Baltimore area we liked the team in purple. But I play here now so I can't really say that.

Football Philosophy: I'm a real quiet guy. I don't say too much. I just try to earn respect from my teammates. That's how I go about my business.

Impression of Pittsburgh: Great fans, good people and I like that.

Perception of Steelers: Hard-nosed, cold weather and Super Bowls.

Goals/Aspirations for 2014: My goal this year is to win the Super Bowl.

Career Goals: I don't want anything to do with football when I'm done. I want to write books. I want to be a TV personality. I want to be a movie director.
