Picture Perfect: Ben Roethlisberger only played one series, but was picture-perfect completing three of three passes for 59 yards and a touchdown and a perfect passer rating of 158.3.

"We want to start fast," said Roethlisberger. "We got everybody involved. A.B. (Antonio Brown) caught a ball, (Le'Veon) Bell caught a ball, (Markus) Wheaton caught a two-point (conversion). The only one who didn't was Heath (Miller).

"I told the o-line if you guys protect like that and open up holes in the run game, good things are going to happen. That's what we need to do every time. We need to start fast like that."

Ding, ding: Running back Le'Veon Bell got the start, and while he only had two carries he looked strong rushing for 18 yards, including a 16-yard run. Bell also had one reception for nine yards.

Touchdown maker:** Martavis Bryant continued his ability to turn receptions into touchdowns against the Jaguars. Bryant had two receptions for 49 yards, including a 44-yard touchdown.

Young LBs lead: Linebacker Ryan Shazier led the Steelers in tackles with eight, including six solo stops. Sean Spence added seven tackles, five of them solo hits.

Welcome aboard:Kicker Garrett Hartley got off to a good start for the Steelers, hitting on two field goal attempts, including a 48-yarder. Hartley was signed to replace Shaun Suisham who suffered a season-ending ACL injury last week against the Minnesota Vikings.

The Pittsburgh Steelers traveled to Jacksonville, FL to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1 of the 2015 preseason.
