5 things that stood out vs. Carolina

The Pittsburgh Steelers hosted the Carolina Panthers at Heinz Field for the team's final preseason game of 2015.

--Quarterback Michael Vick got his first start in a Steelers uniform. Vick played the entire first quarter and the majority of the second quarter, and then came in for the final four plays after Landry Jones was injured. Vick finished the night completing three of five passes for 24 yards. He had two carries for five yards.

--Before he was injured on the final series Jones complete nine of 11 passes for 147 yards.

--Linebacker Vince Williams had 12, seven unassisted, to lead all Steelers defenders.  

--B.W. Webb finished the night with eight tackles, six unassisted, while Terence Garvin, Sean Spence, Shayon Green and Howard Jones all had five tackles.

 --The Steelers opened the game without any of the regular starters on offense in the game. Safety Shamarko Thomas and linebacker Arthur Moats were the only defensive starters to get the starting nod. Moats started at right outside linebacker.
